Breakout Session | Impact of Things: How will a hyper-connected network of people and ideas power social impact?
14:15 - 15:30
As we move into the fourth industrial revolution with increasing pace, the degree to which we are ‘connected’ grows deeper by the day. The ease of access and the quality by which individuals can connect with one another has meant that geography plays an increasingly smaller role in determining the level of engagement between individuals and organisations. This newfound ‘connectivity’ has allowed for the spread, strategic reach, influence, and engagement that new ideas, concepts, and initiatives never had before.
Within this session, we will examine the potential for increased flow of ideas brought on by our hyper-connected world, and its implications for the future of social innovation work and its impact.
