To innovate is to intentionally let go of the “way things are” and welcome “the way they could be.” It has been said that ‘breakdown’ is the first step toward innovation, an intentional release of established habits of thought, expectations, assumptions, and beliefs in order to embrace “not knowing”. Business operations on the other hand is based on control. This panel will discuss and examine by which their organisations are able to manage the change (‘breakdown’ and ‘control’) to build and operationalise that culture of creativity and innovation in their workplace.
Within this session, we will examine the potential for increased flow of ideas brought on by our hyper-connected world, and its implications for the future of social innovation work and its impact.
This panel discussion will highlight formation and education models and deep dive into understanding the mindsets, platforms, and tools needed to bring forth the next generation of change makers.
